A Restaurant with Parking in Aewol — The Lot Beside the Restaurant, the Roadside, and Getting Here
A Korean restaurant on the shore in Gamundong, where you can leave your car in the lot beside the restaurant or along the roadside. Navigation search terms, a waypoint that avoids the narrow alleys, the bus route, and opening hours, all in one place.

This Korean restaurant on the shore in Gamundong gives you two ways to park: in the lot beside the restaurant, or along the side of the road. If you are picking a restaurant with parking in Aewol on a day out in a rental car, these two options are the starting point.
A restaurant with parking in Aewol — where to leave the car
Parking in the lot beside the restaurant and parking on the roadside are both possible. The lot is next to the restaurant, and roadside parking means leaving the car at the edge of the road.
When you park on the roadside, check the parking and stopping notices for that spot once before leaving the car. Since you are at the edge of the road, look back for oncoming cars once before opening the door and getting out. If you come knowing both options, you won't have to hunt for a place to put the car after you arrive.
Once the car is parked, come in along the entrance path lined with stones and palm trees.

Where to find the parking information again
The same parking information is also on the Visit page, under the parking section and in the frequently asked questions. If you open that page on your phone once before setting off, you can look at the parking options again after you arrive and turn off the navigation.
What to enter into the navigation
In Naver Map directions or your navigation, search for the restaurant name 미포집 제주점 or for '80 Gamundong-gil, Aewol-eup'. The first searches by the restaurant name, the second by the road-name address. The lot-number address is 제주 제주시 애월읍 하귀2리 2812-1, and it points to the same place as the road-name address.
Starting from Jeju Airport, follow National Route 1132 (Iljuseo-ro) toward Aewol and you will come to the area around Gamundong harbour. Think of Gamundong harbour as the last landmark on this route.
If driving through narrow alleys feels like a lot, one option is to add 'Jaksan Aewol Heukdwaeji' (작산 애월 흑돼지) as a waypoint in your navigation. Set this way, the route continues straight along the sea from Gamundong harbour. Adding a waypoint gives you a different route than entering only the destination, so you can compare the two routes once before setting off.

In front of the restaurant, the sign stands on the basalt wall, with the sea behind it.
Coming by bus without a car
On a day without a rental car, you can also come by bus. From Jeju Airport, the order is as follows.
- Take the express bus 102 from Jeju Airport.
- Transfer to bus 795 at Namjudong.
- Get off at the Keunmuldo stop.
- From the stop it is about a 5-minute walk to the restaurant.
Since the route involves one transfer and about a 5-minute walk at the end, after getting off at the Keunmuldo stop you can set 제주 제주시 애월읍 가문동길 80 in a map app and walk over.
There is one transfer along the way, so if you allow plenty of time for waiting for bus 795 at Namjudong, it is easier to keep to your meal time. For the bus back, you can check the times in advance from the notices at the stop or in a map app. On a day when you leave the car behind, there is no need to think about a parking spot at all.

Timing your arrival around the opening hours
The restaurant is open every day from 10:00 to 21:00, and orders are taken until 20:00. The hours do not change by day of the week. If you are coming for lunch, arrive after 10:00; if you are coming in the evening, arrive before 20:00.
When arriving in the evening, set your departure time by the 20:00 last order rather than the closing time. The hour between 20:00 and 21:00 is for finishing a meal already ordered. If you are coming straight from the airport, add the time along National Route 1132 and the time to park, and you won't be rushed by the last order.
Even on days when you arrive after sunset, the palm trees and the sign stand in front of the restaurant, marking that you are nearly at the place to park.

The address, and what to read with it
The address is 80 Gamundong-gil, Aewol-eup, Jeju-si, Jeju-do. The map and directions are on Visit, and the menu can be seen on Menu.
